Welcome to

Delta Medical Transport

Locally owned and operated. Delta Medical Transport (DMT)  has been serving the unique needs of Alaska's communities since 2011. Our mission is to provide reliable, safe medical transportation of the highest quality with a team of compassionate medical professionals that honor Alaska's diverse community with integrity and respect.

Our Services

In 2011, we started as a small inter-facility transport company for a local doctor. Since then, we have seen the need for better access to high quality emergency services for Alaska's interior and remote regions and have striven to meet those needs by diversifying and expanding our services.

Response to 9-1-1  calls / Emergency Transportation

DMT has been the primary provider of Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) emergency medical response for the Delta Junction, Paxon, Summit Lake and surrounding areas since 2013. With over 100 miles to the nearest hospital for most of our patients it is our primary focus to continue to support these communities with immediate fast response time and high-quality professional care.

Inter-facility Transport

NEW PARTNERSHIP: This spring (2019) we expanded our ALS services into Glennallen to partner with Cross Road Medical Center as their Emergent  ALS and BLS inter-facility provider.

Community First

We believe an educated community is a prepared community and that is why community outreach is an important part of what we do. From field trips, to sponsoring the Annual Health Fair to offering classes in CPR, E.T.T for our high school students and EMT for those who are 18 and older, as well as hosting regular safety events and community training. We want to give back to our community. Interested in participating in our next class or training session? Please call the Delta office for more information.

Let's face it, emergencies can be scary! It is important that children understand how the 9-1-1 system works and that we are here to help them.

We welcome visitors and classrooms of all ages to come by, meet our medics, check out the ambulances and learn a little more about Emergency Services.

DMT co-sponsors the annual health fair in Delta Junction and actively participates in health and wellness education, performing vital signs and other core screenings and tests, and assisting with blood draws for the high-quality blood tests.

We are currently hosting an EMT-I class in conjunction with FGFD. Classes start in September and run through December 2017.

Weekly trainings are scheduled thru the Delta office and dependent upon emergency calls. Please call the Delta office for more information.
